ROYAL Secondary Schools, Buruku, Benue State has emerged the winner of the zone C of the 7th All Nigeria Secondary Schools Football Championship (NNPC/Shell Cup 2011).
Benue team defeated Epie National High School, Kpansia of Bayelsa at the last zonal match played at the Rangers Stadium, Enugu on Friday 4-0 to qualify for the quarter final of the championship.

Friday Orugwu of Bayelsa handled the ball at box 18 and the resultant penalty kick was converted the kick to made it two-nil
Faith Ukane made it three goals for Benue in the 71st of the game through ball deflection which beat the goal keeper.
The last goal of the match was scored by Ogbonna Obiahu at the 74th minute through a direct shot outside the box.
Benue walked over its first opponent, Army Day Secondary School, Ikom, Ansa, Calabar, Cross River State, the walk over gave the Benue boys three points and three goals.
Royal boys of Benue top the group with seven points from three matches, with goal difference of plus seven which gave them edge over St. Thomas Basic Group of School, Benin City, Edo State who had seven points from three matches with plus six goals difference.
Epie National High School of Bayelsa placed third in the group with four points having a walk over against Cross Rivers and 2-2 draws with Benue.
